1.some of my favorite writing pieces I've done are the one on photo of the millennium cause i wrote about 911 was really able to get in depth about it and share my opinions and thoughts about the event.  another one would be the movie quote post because who doesn't like movies and quoting movies. i loved doing the art writing because art is such a huge part of my life and i think that section was easiest for me to connect to and actually keep focused on.
2. I've read many different pieces by people in our class some of them are just rushing and trying to get through the piece but then others actually are in depth and passionate about some of the things they are writing about and you can tell because they get more into detail and are not just going through like "this happened" then "this happened" which gets me more interested cause no body likes to read a boring rushed piece of work.
3. before we set up our blogs i had never blogged before. i learned that random people all over are gonna read these and that its more then just writing towards your class audience. i had one person read my blog that was from Ukraine i mean i don't really care who reads it but the fact that someone that far away read my blog is pretty dope. when i came up with my name i wanted something chill and i wanted my blog to represent me so i came up with the name Collin's words and stuff then i made the blog space oriented and made everything my favorite color which is blue. i doubt ill post very much after this because ill be super busy and wont have much time for blogging.
4.I have so many different things in my journal some of my writings are just ramblings and art because i got in a major habit of sketching in my journal. some of the stuff in my journal i really enjoyed writing about others just didn't click with me. but the one cool thing about journaling is getting to see some of the randomness that can come out of my mind. i doubt ill have much time to journal after school  because ill be super busy but every now and then i may sit down and just spew my mind out when i need to.
5. "its a bed or a pillow it looks xray like or like someone took the contrast and increased it dramatically.its kind of saddening and a little depressing. the colors are dark and creepy and kind of give me a dead or dying feeling. i can not quite make out exactly what it is. is it a pillow  or like a bed with brains or a dead body spilling out of it. i kinda get an idea of what it is or what it means and its scary and might give me a nightmare or something. i feel like if i fell asleep right now this pillow may show up and eat me  murder me or like chase me around my house.  its the scariest pillow and or bed i have ever laied my eyes on. if i didn't have to write this i would never ever look at it again"
6. after 911 occurred all Americans voluntarily gave up many rights pertaining to privacy we voted to pass a law that would allow the government to monitor emails, texts , and record all in going and outgoing calls. we allowed the government access to our Internet history and program usage. basically giving them the ability to track what we are doing when we are doing it and where. all these major changes occurred because of this one major event. it seems very possible that it could have been The U.S and not the Muslims. I'm not saying it was but I'm just saying its something to think about.
7. i don't think ill be creatively writing much in the future. writing is just not something im passionate about i mean it's cool to get your mind out on a page every now and then but its not something i for see myself doing much in my future.
8.some words of encouragement from me... do what you wanna do and don't let anyone tell you its impossible. If you put your mind to it and never stop trying you can do anything that you wanna do no matter how hard it may be.

       September 11, 2001  New York City 2 planes are intentionally crashed into the twin towers. This day and this event changed the U.S and the lives of millions that live in the U.S forever. within hours we are at war. many people have said that the president knew of these plans and that it wasn't terrorist that killed these thousands of people. what if it was true that the government planned these attacks in order to gain oil and scare millions into voluntarily giving up their rights. i mean think about it...2 buildings falling demolition style when an extreme amount of pressure and force is being exerted on one side. physics tells us that energy can not be destroyed only transferred and does not change direction unless acted upon by an outside force. think for instance bowling a ball rolling with forward motion hits the pins and knocks them sideways. this is basically the same concept on a larger scale. lets say a plane flying near 400-500 miles an hour slams into a stationary object the force from that plane doesn't just disappear it is maintained traveling in the same direction as the plane upon impacting the towers the towers should fall the same direction as that of which the plane is traveling. let that sink in.
      within hours of this attack we are on the ground in Iraq. in Iraq one of their major exports is oil which at the time the u.s wasn't allowing offshore drilling which could be a reason to invade a country that has mass amounts of oil.

Teachers + Music

Mr. wilbur said that a song that reminds him of his childhood would be jeramiah with a bullfrog because it came on the radio all the time when he was a kid.

Coach Blackburn said that his favorite song is Mr.Jones by counting crows because of all the memories that are tied to the song.

Mr. mellow said that he didnt goto concerts and wouldnt give us a reason why.

Music Questions

1. 1   When I listen to music the feelings and emotions that arise are different based on the genre of music or the song itself is I am listening to metal or dubstep I usually feel like just raging and moshing and feel pumped up. If I am listening to like EDM or dance music then I usually just feel super happy and want to jump up and down to the beat.  Then there is music like 30 seconds to mars, panic at the disco or fall out boy stuff along those lines which makes me just want to sing and makes me happy.

2.2     My favorite song is probably beautiful lie by 30 seconds to mars because it is all about exposing the things that people with all the power keep hidden like global warming genocide pollution so on and so forth. The song is also super uplifting and the lyrics are deep and meaningful.

3. 3 My taste in music has changed dramatically over the years. I used to be hardcore into breaking Benjamin black veil brides ten years and secondhand serenade. Now I’m really into the EDM scene I listen to so many different DJ’s and producers it’s not even funny I listen to artists like hardwell, tiesto, Dvbbs, martin garrix, twoloud ,armin van buuran, blasterjaxx ,afrojack ,bright lights , excision,datsik,destriod and so many different electronic artists .

4.4     I gravitate towards mostly EDM because I’m a DJ and electronic music is all I play so I guess by nature I’ve just listened to a lot of electronic music. I think I dislike country and rap most because all the country and rap artist write about the same thing with country it’s all about I lost my house I lost my dog I lost my wife and I like beer. For rap it’s all racial slur racial slur racial slur he’s my “racial slur” and I started from the bottom now I’m here.

5.5     Pretty much all my friends listen to EDM…Even my girlfriend listens to EDM we all always go to festivals and raves together so I assume their tastes in music are pretty much spot on with mine. I think that’s the entire basis of most of my friendships is the music we like.

6.6     Without music the world would be so depressing honestly music is the one place I can go to get away from stress and school drama and lies. Music is everywhere and without music I feel emotion would be a lot harder to deal with.

 The Dude at The Gas Station

It was 1952 and there I was standing at a gas station in the middle of nowhere. I found myself standing up against my car staring at this dude that for what had seem like hours had been working on this gas pump. It was a beautiful red pump that’s color matched that of a plump red apple. The guy was wearing blue overalls and a white t-shirt that was drenched in sweat. My guess was that he probably wreaked of nastiness and sweat. I wanted to approach the man to ask if he needed any water but I withheld myself because I thought it would be rather amusing to watch this hard working man faint in the heat of the summer sun. Hours went bye and I was confused by the fact that no body not a single soul had noticed me creepily staring down this dehydrated man that was still working on the exact same fuel pump. As the day went by I finally got up to go get some food for I was starving and needed some munchies. I came back out and the man was still working away on the gas pump. I had no idea what he was doing to it nor did I care because it gave me something to do on a boring summer week day. Finally the man drenched in sweat loaded up his tools into his toolbox picked it up and walked to his old pickup and drove away into the sunset. I never was to see that man again.

The picture i had that we talking about earlier this week was a painting of an ocean. The painting reminded me of all the trips me and my family would take to the ocean when i was younger. we would stay in either pensicola or destin depended on the time of year. i tended to like destin alot more because the hotel we would stay was huge and wed always get a room up really high where you could see out of the ocean for miles and miles. we would always stay out late on the beach and watch the tide come in . then we would go out and eat at some fancy smancy resteraunt which was always great food. we never really visit the beach which kind of makes me sad cause i miss playing in the sand and going surfing or sandboarding. and every once and a while we would find sharks teeth that had washed up on the beach which when i was young i thought was like the dopest thing ever. me and my brother would always go searching for hermit crabs which inevitably we would keep and take them home with us as pets but soon after they would die and i would be super sad. i always loved the beach and i miss going but i think we are planning to go back this year which will be awesome cause i wanna go surfing so bad. the painting of the ocean reminded me how much i really missed going to the beach and seeing the sand and the ocean.

Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh was born in Zundart netherlands on March 30th 1853 to Theodorus Van Gogh a minister for the local church and his mother Anna Carbentus.  He Had one sibling who was named after his father Theodorus Van Gogh. Vincent Recieved his schooling at the anton muave school of art.

Through out his life van gogh had many lovers romances and relationships but he was not much for freinds.

During his life, there was alot of change taking place he was a big part of the renissance period and a major influence on the periods art style.

Van Gogh Faced some major challenges in his life. for large portion of his life he was a heavy havy drinker and spent most of his time wasted and depressed. Van Gogh was also a very poor person which did not help the depression and alcoholism. late in his life he contracted syphillis from one of his many lovers which also would end up being the death of him. later in his life he would fall madly in love with a woman and cut of his ear to prove  his love for her.

Van gogh mostly work with paint on a canvas. he was greately associated with the renissance period of art.

some of his most famous works are starry night , bedroom in arles, and the courtesian.

his most widely known piece would be starry night a painting of the sky over a harbor and a cyperus tree.

another one would be bedroom in arles.

Van gogh would die early from syphillis which he contracted from one of the many woman he had had relations with earlier in his life. he would pass away in 1890 on july 29th.

the painting is dark but at the same time brings a sense of life along with it

1. yes you should write about stuff you know because if you are trying to write about something you know nothing about you aren't gonna have very much to write about at all.

2. don't try and control teenagers lives because they are in that stage of learning responsibility. if you restrict them from having freedom and the ability to make mistakes they are gonna run into issues when they are out on their own.

5. to date i think 16 because at 16 you are able to go out and get a job which allows for you to pay for dates movies and transportation all of which you need if you are dating someone. to wear a thong i have no idea do people really wear thongs anymore. i think thongs are weird they are like butt floss.

.and to fall in love i really don't think you can put and age on love i mean i guess it really depends on the person and how mature they are as well as how mature the person they are "in love with" is.

15. my special ability would probably be music production and DJing maybe even throw in graphic design i guess if you consider those things special abilities.

16. my perfect day would probably  consist of going to a music festival and seeing all my favorite DJ's and producers live on stage. music is so dope and i love going and actually feeling the bass and feeling the sound from the amps and speakers. any day that i'm out enjoying music is pretty much perfect.

Questions about movies

My Favorite movie and why I like it: My favorite movie is probably the hobbit. I love the hobbit because it so out there and full of fantasy and fantasy movies take you to like another world and you are just like I wish I could be there and live that life. Another reason I love the hobbit is that is gives a completely different perspective of lord of the rings. The hobbit also has elves and elves are pretty freaking dope, all assassin like with their perfect skin and pointy ears. The elves also have insane accuracy with bows.

Movies I don’t really care for: movies I don’t really care for are like crappy syfi movies such as sharknado and movies with horrible computer generation again like sharknado. Like if a movie has bad CG I pick out every little thing and rant about how I could have done better. I also hate movies in a series and all the movies have the same story line. Like in sharknado… how many times can one guy fly through a great white shark with a chainsaw and survive I mean I understand is a syfi movie but come on keep a sense of realism.

How often I watch movies and where I am: I don’t watch movies that often but when I do I am either with my girlfriend at a movie theater or watching Netflix. Some times when there is nothing else on ill just watch a random movie while I’m trying to go to sleep. I maybe only watch movies like once or twice a month maybe 3 or 4 whenever my girlfriend and i go out to movies but other than that I don’t watch movies all that often.

Secret society

                One morning I woke up got out of bed. I got ready as I usually did but then the doorbell rang. I ran down stairs and opened the door to see two sketchy dudes standing there. Not even two seconds went by before one of the guys punched me knocking me out, they then proceeded to put a bag over my head. When I woke up 6 guys in freaky looking hooded robes were standing over me. I noticed they were all wearing gold chains with a golden pyramid on them. Being a person who believed in secret government societies, I instantly knew who they were…The illuminati. For some reason which I could not understand they had decided I was important enough to be a member in their secret society. A guy in a white robe began to walk toward me holding a crimson colored robe that of which matched perfectly to everyone else in the room. He handed it to me and motioned for me to put it on, so I did. He then started reciting an oath in which I was to repeat back to him. After this he pulled out a gold chain and placed it around my neck. I was now a member of the most elite, most powerful, and feared secret government anomaly in existence. My life would never be the same again for these unforeseen events had changed everything forever. No longer was I sitting at home questioning what was real and what was fact, I was all of a sudden sitting in the middle of what I had always thought was not possible. That day I was granted more world power than anyone could ever imagine. Me an average American conspiracy. I had been inducted into the illuminati.

Pizza is a wonderful thing.  And when you add salad to pizza it’s a beautiful thing. When you go to get pizza you cannot just get pizza you got to get a salad with it or your pizza is just lame, bland, and lonely. Getting pizza without salad is like getting a pet and then not having another pet to be that pets’ friend, so you got a little pet all lonely, bored and depressed cause it doesn’t have a friend to play with. And it’s the same when the situation is salad without pizza. It is almost depressing really just sitting there look at that salad and you are like wow I probably should have gotten a pizza with that salad then you begin to eat the salad and you start to weep a little because you think about how lonely the salad is just sitting in your stomach with no friends to slowly digest with. Then for the rest of the night you feel so depressed that you don’t want to do anything else; you don’t want to go out with friends you don’t want to watch TV you just want to sit there and weep cause of the turmoil you put that sad little bowl of salad through.  

                Literally salad without pizza or vice versa could be a possible cause of Armageddon. Someone forgets to get pizza with their salad then become crazy and decide to like start a war with Russia or something then boom world war three is upon us. Then when we run out of weapons and ammo we start launching the forgotten salads across the ocean because that’s the only form of ammo we can find. This eventually becomes the start of a hunger crisis which drives us deeper into war until further down the road we are living in an apocalyptic world. This is a crisis in which could have been avoided if one lonely man would have simply remembered to order a pizza to accompany his salad so he hadn’t gone insane and unleashed the apocalypse upon the world. This pizza war torn future can only be avoided if food eateries and pizza parlors everywhere require the purchase of a pizza with a salad or salad with pizza. The future is at stake and there is only one way to avoid the end… pizza should always be served with salad.
