Vincent Van Gogh

Vincent Van Gogh was born in Zundart netherlands on March 30th 1853 to Theodorus Van Gogh a minister for the local church and his mother Anna Carbentus.  He Had one sibling who was named after his father Theodorus Van Gogh. Vincent Recieved his schooling at the anton muave school of art.
Through out his life van gogh had many lovers romances and relationships but he was not much for freinds.
During his life, there was alot of change taking place he was a big part of the renissance period and a major influence on the periods art style.

Van Gogh Faced some major challenges in his life. for large portion of his life he was a heavy havy drinker and spent most of his time wasted and depressed. Van Gogh was also a very poor person which did not help the depression and alcoholism. late in his life he contracted syphillis from one of his many lovers which also would end up being the death of him. later in his life he would fall madly in love with a woman and cut of his ear to prove  his love for her.

Van gogh mostly work with paint on a canvas. he was greately associated with the renissance period of art.
some of his most famous works are starry night , bedroom in arles, and the courtesian.
his most widely known piece would be starry night a painting of the sky over a harbor and a cyperus tree.
another one would be bedroom in arles.

Van gogh would die early from syphillis which he contracted from one of the many woman he had had relations with earlier in his life. he would pass away in 1890 on july 29th.

  1. Van Gogh is so interesting to me. He only sold one painting when he was alive--I wonder how he'd feel to know how iconic and famous his work in now, with several paintings selling for $40 million.
