Maya said that the caged bird sings of freedom. in my opinion in means the even though the bird is caged up the bird still sings because it believes that there is hope that one day he will be set free from the cage that entraps him and he will one day be able to fly free. i agree with this idea because as humans we all have our cages we have the things that make us feel trapped or make us fell like we have no where to go. But we also all believe that one day we will find out outlet and we will all be able to be set free from our cages and be open and free.

Talking about dreams drama or other unsettling things could give the subject too much power but i guess really it would depend on the situation i mean talking about drama would give it too much power because your helping spread the rumors about whatever it may be I've seen this happen in high schools and it usually ends with more drama and kind become this never ending drama circle.

i think dreams are very powerful and can tell us things while we are are asleep that we could never understand or realize with our conscious minds. I've had dreams that go so far in detail then I've had that same instance is life i feel like our brains can kinda pick up on what is gonna happen and how it will happen.

I could not live Maya's mute lifestyle because i have so much too say. i wish i could talk less but i just cant. if i could listen more id probably learn so much about other people or id probably just pick up on really weird things that come out of peoples mouths.

id consider myself someone who remembers almost everything i can remember as far back as to like when i was 7-8 like down to very small details like what i was wearing who else was there what time of day it was just all these little details. i feel its better to be a person who can remember because you don't wanna forget the little details that later are gonna end up being important. i have recall of times of all emotions like happy times sad times times I've been mad or embarrassed i don't really remember things by how i was feeling at the time. 

i think when Maya says "one cant really learn to fly after 25" shes saying by the time you get to be that age you've developed a routine and you're so used to following that routine everyday and that makes it hard to learn any other way of life .
